Waukesha Overflow Shelter

Shelter beds fill up quickly, especially during the winter months. HAC has been tasked with coordinating and operating a seasonal overflow shelter to help our community partners serve our most vulnerable.

The Waukesha Overflow Shelter serves guests with 30-40 additional shelter beds for single women, single men,  and families with children who are unable to get into other community shelters due to shelter capacity and/or family composition. 

​

The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to partner with Community Advocates, who will again operate the shelter by providing guests with a safe and secure place to stay this winter season. 

​
