The FOOD Pantry of Waukesha County provides food, hope, and dignity to county residents in need, and advocates to increase awareness of hunger in the community through collaborative action. Hours for food distribution are as follows: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m (Monday- Wednesday, and Friday); 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Thursday); 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Saturday). Meals are served on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5:30pm at Hope Center. The Center is located at 502 N. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Contact (262) 549-8726 for more information.
The Salvation Army offers both a food pantry as well as a community meal program. Hours f operation for the food pantry are Tuesdays and Wednessdays 1:00-4:00pm and Fridays 9:00am-Noon. Hours of service for the community meals are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 5:00 - 5:40pm. Intake Information: Participants will be asked to provide their name and basic demographic information to the Community Meal Intake Volunteer upon their first visit. During later visits to participants will need to check in with the Intake Volunteer.
